Former graduate student Melvilí Cintrón (left, PhD May ’17) garnered her dream fellowship in Clinical Microbiology, securing the highly competitive and ONLY Clinical Microbiology Fellowship in the Department of Laboratory Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Mel will spend the next year working as a Microbiologist in the New Jersey state health laboratory, officially known as the NJ Public Health and Environmental Laboratories, before embarking on a career as a Clinical Microbiologist. Have fun Mel and keep on spreading happiness!
